JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) –  It was a great week at TCAT Jacksboro.     In addition to the graduation ceremony on  Aug. 22,  the Practical Nursing Class of 2019 (PHOTO ABOVE) held its pinning ceremony on  Aug. 23.  Led by instructors Betty Leach and Connie Hubbard along with Nursing Coordinator Rae Ellis, 35 students completed the program.  Class President Jodi Wilson served as speaker for the ceremony.  Eight students received perfect attendance awards while Kelby Roark was named salutatorian and Jessica Padgett was named valedictorian.   Tia Bowling received the clinical excellence award which is voted on by members of the class.

“We have a great nursing faculty as well as an excellent team behind the scenes to support our students.  In a few weeks after passing their State Boards, these thirty-five nurses will be taking care of the nursing needs of many patients.  Congratulations Practical Nursing Class of 2019,” Petree said.
