Honey BeeValerie Lynn Grant, age 64 of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019 at LaFollette Medical Center. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Ocklawaha Baptist Church. Valerie served her country in the United States Air Force and retired as a Staff Sergeant.
She is preceded in death by father Ronald Shoemaker and infant daughter Yumiko Lee Anne Grant.
She is survived by husband of 37 years Randy Grant, son Christopher Grant, and mother Betty (Parrish) Shoemaker, all of Ocklawaha, Florida. Brothers Ronald Shoemaker & wife Lisa of Florida, Wesley Shoemaker of Ocklawaha, Florida, sister Cheryl Thompson & husband Karl of Seminole, Florida, several nieces, nephews, & a host other relatives and friends.
At the request of Valerie, she will be cremated, and services will be announced at a later date.
