WHITE OAK, TN (WLAF) – Campbell County Deputy Dakota Williams went to the White Oak area on Sunday about Casey Adam Day (TOP PHOTO) having multiple warrants. When Williams arrived at the home at 5159 White Oak Road, he saw Day standing in the yard. At this point, Day began walking toward a dog kennel in the side yard but came to a stop once he was told to do so.

He had his hands hidden from Williams sight on the other side of the kennel and was commanded to show his hands. At this point, Williams noticed a sun glass case where Day’s right hand had been, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.

Inside the sun glass case Williams found two glass pipes which had burn marks on them consistent with the use of narcotics. When asked if he had anything illegal on him, he said he did not and the pipe was not his. In his right-side pocket Williams allegedly found a small white pill bottle with a clear baggie containing a crystal-like substance that Day said was “ICE.”

Day, 28, 1308 Loop Road, La Follette is charged with violation of probation (General Sessions Court), possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule II controlled substance and capias/bench warrant. He remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning on a $524 cash bond, according to jail records.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 07/25/2019-6AM)
