LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – All the years of labor, love and fellowship invested into the old Faithway Assembly of God Church came to an end in just a couple of hours on Monday afternoon.

Monday’s project resulted from June’s devastating flood that was several feet deep inside and around the church.

WLAF’s Charlie Hutson shares a photo of the interior of the once impressive old church.

Mark Hoskins’ Cam Com Communications crew volunteered to raze the building bringing it down in short time.  Hoskins said, “The love, money and talent put into this old building shows. I’d say the hardwood in the ceiling would cost you, at least, $200 a piece in today’s dollars.”

The historic flood wiped out Faithway Assembly of God’s old and new church buildings on June 7

Cam Com Communications was able to get what’s left of the church on the ground safely so it could be hauled away.
