LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two resolutions and an ordinance are scheduled to be discussed at tonight’s LaFollette Council Meeting.

Resolution 2019-07 authorizing the City of LaFollette to participate in TML Risk Management Pool (safety partners) loss control matching grant program is on the agenda. Next up will be Resolution 2019-09 proving in lieu tax payments from LaFollette Utilities. The amount of payments will be $1,612,000. Ordinance 2019-03 amending the City of LaFollette Fire Protection Fund and Distribution of Funds will have a first reading. The ordinance details monthly rates for residential customers, $2; commercial customers, $10 and industrial customers, $10.

Other items on the agenda were Police Chief Bill Rhoel’s request to move part time dispatcher, Bobby Frazier to full time. City Administrator Jimmy Jeffries announced the first Transportation Alternatives Grant is ready to begin the construction phase.
