Joyce Ann Swangin, age 75 of Jacksboro went home to be with Lord Saturday, June 29, 2019. She was a member of Cherry Bottom Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends singing and being together.  Joyce also loved to sew, quilt, and cook for her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by husband Otis Lee Swangin; son Tommy Byrge; parents Thomas and Minnie Rose (Davis) Byrge; brothers Marshall Byrge, James Byrge and brother Laymon Byrge; sisters Evelyn Jones, Carol Wells, and infant sister Catherine Byrge.

She is survived by daughter Connie Sue Swangin of Jacksboro, brothers Robert Byrge & wife Carla of Jacksboro, Clyde Byrge & wife Ginger of Jacksboro, Warren Byrge & wife Pam of Jacksboro, sister Ella Mae Poore of Caryville. Grandchildren Derrick, Nesha, Sebrea, Felicia, and Mindy; 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. J.J. Patterson officiating. Friends and family will meet 10 AM Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Queener cemetery for the 11 AM interment.
