LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Downed trees.  Sagging lines.  Broken power poles.  There is damage everywhere.    The long day continues for those La Follette Utility Board employees tasked with restoring power after the Friday night and Saturday storms.

“There are no easy fixes,” said LUB General Manager Kenny Baird this afternoon.  And today’s heavy rainfall and storms did not help.  Baird estimates that not every LUB customer who is without power will be back online today.
