The City of La Follette took part in this morning’s funeral procession of La Follette Police Officer James Farmer’s sister.

Mayor Mike Stanfield said, “This is something we were honored to do for James and his family.”  Farmer’s sister, 38-year old Heather Teter of Jacksboro, passed away Saturday.  She was laid to rest at Indian Creek Cemetery.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/15/2019-1PM – PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)

  1. Thank you all so much for doing this for James and his family. I’ve known this family all of my life. Heather and I were close in age and lifelong friends. Her loss is devastating. I wish to give my sincere condolences to James, Jimmy, Dolly, Stacey and Heathers girls. I love you all and I’m so very sorry for your loss. Thanks again to the Police department for your kindness and for honoring sweet Heather. God bless you all.
