Barbara Jean Boshears, age 88 of Jacksboro passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019. She was a member of Mt. Paran Baptist church.  Barbara enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, and baking.  She was active in the Campbell County Home Demonstration Club for over 50 years.  She won several awards for quilting and baking.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and all her cousins.

She is preceded in death by husband Wade Boshears,  parents James and Addie Queener, brother Monroe Queener, nephew Jim Queener.

She is survived by daughters Marlene (Douglas) Broadway, and Freda (Tony) Branam, both of Jacksboro; 3 grandchildren Travis (Michelle) Honeycutt, Brad (Lindsey) Honeycutt, and Lucy Branam, 4 great grandchildren, twins Reagan and Lexi Honeycutt and Maelee Jean and Graydon Wade Honeycutt, a host of other relatives and friends. Special mention to her close cousins, Betty Hatmaker, Jane Sowder and Brenda Fraley, brothers-in-law Hugh and Morton Boshears, sisters-in-law Frankie, Virginia, Barbara, Faye, and Ola Mae Boshears, and wonderful caregivers, Carrie Gipson and Cherry Williamson.

Family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Friday, May 17, 2019 at Mt. Paran Baptist Church; the funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Ron Williams officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Jacksboro Cemetery for 11 AM interment.
