The City of Jellico holds its annual “Gem City Clean-up” next month.   It is Sat., May 4, starting at 9 am.  Those who want to help are asked to gather under a tent in Veterans Park prior to 9 am.

Campbell County Litter Control Officer Glennis Monday will be on hand as usual furnishing all the needed tools to help in the clean-up.  More than 100 volunteers came out last year, and organizers are hoping for that many or more this year.  The goal is to have someone manning every street in town.

There will be hot dogs, chips and drinks for everyone involved.
