Ballard Loop Trail – paved wooded loop with a history of the park
Medium–Difficult @ Cumberland Trail State Park
Devils Racetrack – elevation/rocky, Stand at the edge of the Cumberlands!
Cumberland Trail Meeting Place: 220 Park Rd., Caryville – Cumberland Trail Office
(blue house right after Cove Lake campground entrance) We will caravan to trail head
Indian Mountain State Park – 143 Indian Mt. State Park Circle, Jellico
(Ballard Loop Trail)
Meeting Time: 11:00 am
Duration: Devils Racetrack 2-3 hours (lunch at the top)
Ballard Loop ¾ mile leisurely pace. Approx 45 minutes – 1 hour
Bring: Water, lunch snacks, backpack, close toed shoes, dress weather appropriate
Ages: 10 + children must be supervised by an adult
Small children must have close supervision due to rough terrain on Devils Racetrack
Safety: If you have any health conditions, please let your guide know and bring the appropriate medications if needed.
