Campbell County’s first “Shows Off” Festival is coming on Saturday, June1.  It runs that day from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.     The performances take place on the stage near the downtown La Follette flea market behind the La Follette Police Station.

Organizer Sharon Chapman is looking for local Gospel, Bluegrass and Country bands and other type musicians to “show off” their talents in this inaugural event.  Chapman is also looking for vendors to set up that day for food and arts and crafts.

This Festival came about when Chapman wanted to shine light on locals and their talents in music and crafts, saying “We have very talented people, and I want them to receive recognition for their specialties.”  Feedback from businesses and members of the community has been positive.

Bands will perform on a volunteer basis but are encouraged to bring a merchandise table to set up.  Band applications are due by Sunday, April 14, 2019.

Set up fee for vendors is $25 for foods or crafts. Vendor registration is due by Sunday, May 5, 2019.
