Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins is asking for the public’s help in locating a young La Follette woman.     A call from an unidentified male came in to E-911 at 12:24 pm on Thursday afternoon.  He told the dispatcher that he witnessed a disturbing event involving 26-year- old Shenna Baird (top photo) and was concerned for her well being.

Long Hollow Road in La Follette is where the caller said he saw Baird in the front passenger seat of a small red car.  He detailed  she “had a busted head with blood gushing from her face.”  The caller identified the driver of the car as 32-year- old James Peter Eberharter of La Follette.

James Peter Eberharter has an extensive criminal record with 17 arrests.  His most recent charge is aggravated assault by domestic violence.

The man went on to say that a child was let out of the car with Eberharter then allegedly driving off at a high rate of speed.

Eberharter is a wanted man.  He is out of jail on a $500,000 bond and is wanted on a violation of probation.

If you see or know the whereabouts of Baird and/or Eberharter, Sheriff Goins encourages you to immediately at 423.562.7446. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/28/2019-4PM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF THE CCSD)

  1. Has anyone tried locating and contacting her relatives or close friends, to find out when they last saw or spoke to her or pinged her last know cell location?

  2. Wow. More worried about an address change than if she’s okay. Your compassion is overwhelming. Hope she’s found.
