A Louisville, Ky., man remains in the Campbell County Jail this morning facing multiple charges after a wild ride up I-75 on Monday afternoon.     Reports coming in to WLAF are that 35-year- old David Fulton was driving a car recklessly on I-75 when he caught the eye of an off duty police officer.  Just before 4 pm, the incident was developing on the northbound side around Mile Marker 136.

Officers with Caryville Police, Campbell County Sheriff and the THP attempted to pull over the speeding car before it eventually hit the back end of an 18-wheeler at Mile Marker 150, reports said.

Officers were forced to taze Fulton to get him under control, according to officials.  Fulton was suffering from non-life threatening injuries and taken to the Jellico Hospital.

Fulton, who will likely be arraigned this morning, is charged with felony evading arrest, reckless endangerment, assault on a police officer, speeding and resisting arrest.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/26/2019-6AM)
