Caryville Elementary Host ‘Tip Top Reading Workshop for Parents’

First Grade teachers invited parents to learn more about reading strategies other than “sound it out”.   These tips and tricks were discussed and practiced in a short parent meeting to provide support on how to help your child become a better reader at home. This was the second workshop offered this school year. Parents and teachers have been very motivated to meet and work together in a unified effort to improve student reading fluency.
