Those hoping to get married in a mountain setting now have an option.

“We’re there to make it happen and make memories” said Starla Berry, owner of Sweet Creek Events.

“It was like a light bulb went off,” Berry said of the new venture. “I enjoyed the Mountain Heritage events growing up and wanted to share the location with others. The field provides a gorgeous location for a wedding.”

“We have three different locations at the facility, a picnic area with an open-air barn, an outdoor field and an indoor option at the arena,” she said.

Sweet Creek Events offers four wedding packages that will accommodate all budgets. The packages include a variety of items ranging from a fully decorated wedding ceremony and two hours use of the facility to the highest package which includes a lavish wedding that will seat up to 400 guests and a fully decorated reception hall. Prices range from $500 to $1,500. Depending on the package selected, Cumberland Mountain Catering will offer their services at a separate price.
