One Lady Cougar fan said, “Don’t let this great season end!”  The Lady Cougars must win tonight at home against Farragut.  If they don’t, the season ends around 9 pm Friday.

CCHS teacher and Voice of the Cougars has planned a way for all Lady Cougar fans to play a key role in tonight’s game.  All fans are encouraged to wear white shirts to create a White Out Night at John Brown Gym.  Parker encourages you to arrive early, like by 6:30 pm, wearing your white.  Tip time is 7 pm.

The first 100 students to arrive at the game get a free “white” T-shirt compliments of the CCHS Pep Club, Peoples Bank of the South and McCloud Mountain.

Lady Cougar Head Coach Brad Honeycutt said, “We have a group that believes in themselves and knows they have a lot of basketball left in them, but every fan we can put in the stands will add to that confidence.”

“We need the community to turn out for this white out.   I hope everyone wear white, and we (Lady Cougars) will give you something to cheer about,” added Honeycutt.

Campbell County hosts Farragut Friday night at 7 pm in the opening round of the Region 2 girls basketball tournament.    The Lady Cougars will be wearing their white.  You are encouraged to wear your white, too.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/22/2019-6AM)
