On Tuesday, the following three people pleaded guilty and were sentenced to prison:

– Roberto Lagunes, age 35, of La Follette, pleaded guilty to three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure, three counts of sexual battery by an authority figure, and three counts of Incest. Lagunes was ordered to serve 10 years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction. Immigration and Customs Enforcement currently has a hold placed on Lagunes for deportation.

– Daryl Roland Overbay,  age 49, of Jacksboro, pleaded guilty to possession of Heroin, a schedule I controlled substance with the intent to sell or deliver, possession of schedule II Meth over .5 grams with intent to sell or deliver, theft over $1,000 and theft of services under $1,000  Overbay was ordered to serve 12 years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

– Michelle Ann Leopard, age 39, of Speedwell, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and theft over $1,000. Leopard was ordered to serve six years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

As of this morning, all three remain housed, for the time being, at the Campbell County Jail.   (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/21/2019-6AM)
