UPDATE:  Given that Knox County Schools are  dealing with illness issues and school closures, the district tournament days could change.  WLAF will keep you posted should the CCHS games be moved to a different date.

By virtue of winning a coin toss this morning, the Campbell County Lady Cougars are the top seed in next week’s District 3-AAA basketball tournament.  Campbell and Oak Ridge tied for the regular season district championship forcing today’s toss.

The 25 & 3 Lady Cougars open the tourney in the semi-final round on Friday, February 15, at Karns.  It’s a 7:30 pm tip time.

The Cougars are the 7th seed and play at Karns on Tuesday, February 12, at 6 pm.
