“There’s always a lot activity at that house,” neighbors say about the white house that sits at the corner of West Chestnut Street and South 5th Street.

Just after 3:30 pm, Wednesday, La Follette Police Department’s Drug Unit and Special Response Team along with members of the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence located at 114 West Chestnut Street, just up Riggs Hill from the police department.

LPD Captain Stephen Wallen tells WLAF News that though no arrests were made, the investigation remains ongoing.  The captain notes that evidence was gathered and will be presented to the Campbell County Grand Jury.

NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHER:  One of the reasons law enforcement does not always make arrests is because it needs to protect the identity of its informants and information, because of multiple investigations.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/10/2019-6AM)
