January’s “spring-like” start ends today.  Highs under a sunny sky here in Campbell County do not make it out of the 30s and reaching 39-degrees might be a stretch.

However, the wind is the difference maker as wind chills (the feels-like temperatures) will be in the 20s today and then in the teens tonight.  It’ll be partly cloudy with a low of 21 when we wake up on Thursday.

Thursday will be even colder with sun and a high of 35 and then a low of 22 under clear skies on Thursday night.  Highs will be in the 40s Friday through Sunday with lows around the freezing mark.  Rain and snow showers are likely Friday night through Sunday night.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/09/2019-6AM)
