Cynthia Carolyn “Wilson” Nelson, age 78, of LaFollette, TN went home to meet her precious Savior and see family Friday, December 28, 2018. She was saved at the age of 9, grew up at Mt. Paran Baptist Church. She graduated at Jacksboro High School May 28, 1959. She married to her loving husband Junior Nelson on May 1, 1959. Went to California where her husband was in the Navy, moved back to Tennessee and lived in Clinton, TN for 33 years where they worked and retired. They helped build churches in Clinton, Florida and Missouri. Her husband was ordained a Minister in 1981 and started a church in South Clinton, helped to build one in Florida and served in Missouri where her husband Pastored for five years. It was a joy to serve the Lord and see folks get saved. She lead one lady at the age of 99 years old to the Lord. Went and visited with patients at 5 different Nursing Homes for 34 years. She saw all the states and went to the Holy Land. Her and her husband were missionaries in Belize. She loved to quilt, embroider and travel.

Preceded in death by husband, Elmer Nelson Jr.; parents, Elijah and Bessie “Fowler” Wilson; brothers, James O. Wilson, Eugene Wilson and Wilborne “Cotton” Wilson; sister, Josephine Wright.
