Skylar Boshears put on a show this morning at Henard Gym as she and her Lady Cougar teammates dispatched the North Greene Lady Huskies. The Huskies went ice cold after playing nip and tuck through much of the first half.  But Bo was on her game every minute she played.

Boshears came out with five-minutes to go with 36 points to her credit; a career high for Number 32.  To that point, she’d led her team to a 27-point lead.  The Furman-bound senior, who nabbed six steals, had a double-double on Wednesday and was one rebound away from another today at Greeneville.

Campbell led 18-17 after one-quarter and then 38-33 at the half. Once the teams cleared halftime, the game was never the same.  The Lady Cougars scored 30 of the next 38 points to build their biggest lead at 68 to 41 on their way to a 70-50 victory.  CC forced 24 turnovers.

Boshears finished with 36 landing her in eighth place for the highest point total in a single-game in the 30-year history of the Greeneville Classic. Madison Brady added 16 points plus six rebounds as she and Boshears combined for 52 of the team’s total of 70 points.  Lexy Richardson and Haley Comer scored four points apiece.  Blair Medley had three points, four rebounds and three assists as Macy Monday added three points.  Kayleigh Jordon chipped in two points.  Emily Ellison scored a couple of points, made four steals and had one block.

The Huskies drop to 10 & 4 while CCHS improves to 15 & 2.
