An Indiana couple accused of fleeing from law enforcement and firing gun shots at them are expected to make their first appearance in court this morning.The late Friday night ordeal involving the couple began with a deputy clocking their car traveling on I-75 at 97-miles per hour.  The radar reading was followed by a high speed pursuit and gun shots fired at officers by suspects, according to reports.  SEE the full story and photos here.

Arrested were 38-year -old Benjamin Kevin Lewis and 32-year- old Cheyenne Nicole Judd.  Both listed the same Jasonville, Indiana, address as their home.  Lewis and Judd are charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.  Lewis also faces a felony evading arrest charge.  Another charge, possession of a prohibited weapon,  was added later in the weekend.

The pursuit and apprehension came to an end at 10:29 pm Friday night lasting approximately 36 minutes.  No shots were fired by any of the law enforcement involved including units from Scott County that assisted.  There were no injuries.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/17/2018-6AM)
