Campbell County put up almost as many points in the first quarter as it did in the entire second-half Tuesday night at Central in Fountain City.  The Lady Cougar Basketball team breezed to a 65 to 30 win over the Lady Bobcats in a District 3 match-up.   Campbell led 24 to 5 after the first quarter and tallied 27 in the third and fourth quarters combined.  The Lady Cougars improve to 7 & 0 in all games and 3 & 0 in the district.

Nine Lady Cougars scored with Alyssa Brown, Haley Comer and Kayleigh Jordan getting 12 each.   Skylar Boshears tallied 11 while Madison Brady scored seven.  Emily Ellison added four.  Macy Monday had three as Blair Medley and Myra Sexton finished with two points apiece.

A very athletic and veteran team in the Central Bobcats outscored the visiting Campbell County Cougars Tuesday night by a final of 71 to 46 .  The Cougars drop to 0 & 9 on the year and 0 & 3 in the district.

Nate Walden led Cougar scorers with eight points followed by seven each from Spencer Boshears, Bryce Duncan and Jake Lane.  Landon Addington added six as John Allen Arnold had four, Carter Wells three,  Gavin Sexton three and Seth Ward one.
