The Campbell County Cougars led Carter 32 – 30 at the half after trailing 11 – 9 at the end of the first quarter.  It was  a 47 – 44 Carter lead after three quarters and still anybody’s game.  However, Campbell could just not match the Hornets in the final quarter as Carter outscored the Cougars 22 – 14.

Nate Walden led all scorers with 19 while fellow freshman Spencer Boshears tallied 16 on the night.  Bryce Duncan and Jake Lane had six each with Carter Wells adding five.  Landon Addington had four and John Arnold chipped in two.

Campbell carries an 0 & 8 mark to Fountain City tonight for a district contest against Central.  The Cougars district record is 0 & 2.
