A vehicle traveling on south on Tennessee Avenue failed to stop at a stop sign and caught the attention of LaFollette Police Officer Shane Tielman.

When Tielman stopped the vehicle and spoke with the driver, Jessica May Gibson, he noticed she was acting nervous and had a shaky voice when talking to him. During a search of the car the officer found a small zip lock baggie with a crystal-like substance in it which was in Gibson’s purse, the report said. When asked what was in the baggie, Gibson allegedly said it was meth.

Gibson, 40, 106 Rich Lane, LaFollette was charged with possession of schedule II and traffic control device (stop sign).   (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/16/2018-6AM)
