On Tuesday, November 13, 2018, Eighth Judicial District Criminal Court Judge E. Shayne Sexton sentenced Marvin DeWayne Bullock to one hundred seventy-eight (178) years to be served in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction.    The sentence stemmed from 55-year old Marvin DeWayne Bullock  being convicted by a Campbell County Jury of five (5) counts of Rape of a Child; five (5) counts of Rape; nine (9) counts of Incest; three (3) counts of Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure; one (1) count of Solicitation of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor; two (2) counts of Attempted Sexual Exploitation of a Minor; one (1) count of Aggravated Sexual Battery; and one (1) count of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child over a two-day trial on June 25, 2018.

This case was investigated and prosecuted by Lieutenant Detective John Long with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department. The Campbell County Children’s Advocacy Center and the Department of Children’s Services were an integral part of the investigation and prosecution in this case.   1. What a piece of scum this guy is. How sad for the child n family involved in such an inexcusable and unforgiving situation. He may rot in jail for this but his true judgement will come after his pathetic life is over. I pray for those innocent people involved in this. This is sad for everyone.
