Andrew Jackson Lawson, age 90 of Caryville went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 12, 2018.  He was a member of High Knob Baptist Church.  He enjoyed farming, animals, and coon hunting.

He is preceded in death by wife Effie Luola (Petree) Lawson; parents Perry and Mattie (Miller) Lawson; son Ronnie Lawson; brothers Mike, Ben, John, and Jim Lawson; sisters Ruth Vann and Chloe Lovette.

He is survived by sons Ricky Lawson & wife Jamie, Kevin Lawson, Warren Lawson & wife Karen, David Lawson & wife Kim, and Anthony Lawson, all of Caryville; daughters Jackie Claborn & husband Moe of Georgia, Janiffer Tackett & husband Larry Joe of Caryville, and Hope Dotson & the late Gene of Philadelphia, TN.; sister Mildred Kindred of Jacksboro; grandchildren Heath Lawson, Casey Tackett, Brandon Claborn, Derek Claborn, Tracy Wilson, Jessica Lawson, Timothy Dotson, Courtney Dotson, David Lyn Lawson, Jordan Lawson, Lacey Ivey, Jancie Adkins, Gage Lawson and Melissa Adkins; great grandkids Ryland Lawson, Chance Tackett, Addi Joe Tackett, Dylan Claborn, Harlee Claborn, Kohen Claborn, Riley Wilson, Mason Wilson,  Kailyn Wilson, Hayden Lawson, Braxton Lawson, Emma Wilford, Nathan Wilford, and Evan Wilford; special friend Larry Long, Tim Haun, Gordon Beaty, and Gary Long; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5 PM with a Masonic Service at 7:45 PM Wednesday, November 14, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 8 PM with Rev. Paul Hembree and Rev. Danny Lawson officiating.  Friends and family will meet 9:45 AM Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Mt. Zion Cemetery for the 10 AM interment.
