Air Force Veteran Melvin Boshears is the 2018 Grand Marshal of the Veteran’s Day Parade on Saturday in downtown La Follette.   The annual event treks from the east side of La Follette, through downtown and ends at JR’s Tires on the west end.  WLAF’s Aaron Hopkins will serve as the master of ceremonies.

Parade start time is 2 pm, and people are encouraged to  line-up along the parade route and cheer for our real life Campbell County heroes.  Cold, sunshine and temperatures right at 40-degrees are expected for the fun event.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/09/2018-6AM-PHOTO COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLIE HUTSON)
