This afternoon, Campbell County Sheriff Robbie K. Goins recognized CCSD Deputy John Minor for superior performance of duty as a deputy sheriff while assigned to patrol on Saturday, October 27.     Goins said, “John performed his duties in an exemplary and professional manner, resulting in saving the life of a Campbell Countian.”

The veteran deputy was dispatched to the four-lane in Jacksboro at approximately 10:40 pm to see about a person who was unresponsive and not breathing. Deputy Minor arrived at the scene, located the woman, removed her from a car and began CPR. He skillfully and courageously resuscitated the woman, and at last report, she is doing well.
