For the month of November, the LaFollette Christian Women’s Connection will host a Guy’s and Gal’s Luncheon.

The luncheon will feature Jeff Huxford, a former physician who will share his personal story entitled, “Finding a New Normal. On May 3, 2012, he survived a near fatal car accident where he was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at a four-way flashing red light. His vehicle was then pushed into and wrapped around a concrete pole. Huxford was a family medicine doctor in northwest Indiana for 10 years before retiring due to complications from a traumatic brain injury. In 2016, he moved to Franklin with his wife and their two children. He is a blogger, author and speaker.

Elaine Schatzline-Behr, coordinator will share information about the Campbell County Children’s Center and its summer camp. Music will be provided by Vanessa Dupuy and Bobbie Archer.

The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from 11:15 am to 1 pm at the Ball Farm Event Center, the cost of the event is $12 per person. The cost includes lunch by Classy Threads and Catering.

Reservations and cancellations are required by this Thursday, Nov. 8, at noon, call Pat at 423-562-1962 or Patricia at 423-377-9855.
