The clock turned back to 1962 Saturday night when former Lady Blue Devil Dereda Trammell-Faulkner arrived.  She played on the last Jellico girls team to win the district title.  That was in the day of six-on-six girls basketball when three players played offense on one end of the court and three played defense on the other end.

Dereda Trammell-Faulkner now makes her home at Well Springs

Trammell-Faulkner still loves the game and follows it today.  She calls late Tennessee Coach Pat Summitt as her all-time biggest influence and the inspiration she spread to thousands.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/05/2018-6AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF DAVID GRAHAM)
