A cold, wet day at L. Hope Dossett Stadium was the setting for Championship Saturday.

In the 1A championship game, Robbins won over Oakdale.

In the 2A championship game, the Indians of Oneida defeated Rockwood.

In the 3A championship game, Cherokee of Kingston outscored the defending champion Jacksboro Eagles.

Although the Eagles lost, they still have accomplished some amazing things this year with a team that nobody thought would be in the playoffs let alone the state championship game.

JMS lost 24 eighth graders from last year’s title team, and before Saturday had won 17-straight games.  JMS has posted back-to-back undefeated regular seasons.
