One person was flown out by a med chopper to a Knoxville hospital Sunday afternoon.   Reports from E-911 Dispatch are that there was a two-vehicle accident on south Highway 25W north of La Follette near Lick Creek.  That’s a couple of miles south of Wynn School.  Members of the Campbell County Rural Fire Service (CCRFS) and the La Follette Rescue Squad extricated one person out of a vehicle.  The road, 25W,  was temporarily closed as the chopper landed near the Peabody dumpsters to load the patient.

There was a car fire on Stinking Creek Road Saturday night.  No one was injured as the CCRFS and La Follette Rescue Squad responded.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/08/2018-6AM)
