Relaxing a little more and having fun are a couple of this season’s objectives for members of the CCHS Lady Cougar Volleyball team. Coach Renee Wormsley describes this evening’s season opening opponent, Karns, as always a tough game for CCHS. The coach adds, “But we have prepared for them, and we are so excited to see how it goes tonight.”

There’s been no shortage of preparation for the Lady Cougars. They’ve worked hard this summer with several camps and play days. Wormsley calls volleyball such a tough sport, mentally and physically. She says, ” I feel like the ladies are in such a great place this season in both of these areas.”
This evening’s match-up begins at 6 pm at John Brown Gym. The next home game for the Lady Cougars is Tuesday, August 21 at 6 pm with Union County. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/14/2018-8:30AM)
