Ahead of National Night Out, the City of La Follette holds its regular monthly meeting today at 5:30 pm at City Hall.     Three resolutions and an ordinance are among the items on the agenda.  There will be a first reading on Ordinance 2018-16 amending Chapter 5 of the Municipal Code Fireworks.  The City looks to allow sales of fireworks within the city limits with this proposed amendment.  Also on the agenda is approval of additional compensation for Mayor Mike Stanfield for extended duties.  WLAF brings you the full story first thing in the morning right here.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 08/07/2018-6AM)
