The Campbell County Cougars will be putting points on a brand new scoreboard this 2018 football season.  WLAF showed you what was left of the old CCHS scoreboard a few weeks ago after it was demolished in the construction of the new track at Pat Kerr Field.  But a new board is in the works.

Besides getting a new scoreboard, there’s a new location for it; at the back of the west end zone.  Since 1975, the Cougar scoreboard has been at the left or east end of the field.

Cougar Coach Justin Price tells WLAF, “We’re excited about the new board and its possibilities.  It’s going to be a short turn-a-round for our first game though.”  CCHS opens its  home schedule on Friday, August 24 with Davey Crockett.
