There was not a plane crash on Monday in Speedwell.  It was a successful emergency landing.

Here is the Claiborne County, Aviation-ELT Incident Report: On Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1500 (4:00 PM), the State Watch Point received notification regarding a 1955 Beechcraft F35 that experienced engine problems and landed in a field. The location of the landing is a rural area in Speedwell. It was reported that the pilot called a Mayday with McGee/Tyson Airport at Knoxville. This was not a crash, this was an emergency landing.
