Jacksboro Elementary students in Kindergarten through fifth grade learned how to be a CSI this week.

The students learned about trace evidence, fingerprints and a history lesson about K-9’s. Campbell County Detective Ken Daugherty led the presentation and was assisted by K-9 handlers Deputy Travis Bostic and his partner Santo and Deputy David Wormsley and his partner Daisy. “We are proud of these young students and their participation this week. They were attentive and eager to learn. It’s always one our of biggest pleasures to serve our small citizens in our schools. We are also thankful for our staff who participated and did an outstanding job. They are much appreciated,” said Campbell County Sheriff Robbie K. Goins.
