It’s that time of year.  It’s training time for local law enforcement.Campbell County Sheriff Robbie Goins calls it a requirement that pays life saving dividends for his men and women in uniform and in plain clothes.  Members of the CCSD, Caryville and Jacksboro Police Departments, and the Drug Task Force took part.

La Follette and Jellico Police Departments take part in similar in-service training sessions at another time of the year.

The in-service, required by law, took place all week last week at Campbell County High School.  Goins says it is a full 40-hour session.  CLICK HERE to see more of Noah Smith’s photos.  (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 06/11/2018-6AM)
